KUWAIT: Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri yesterday described the new television news studio as a modern one of a unique kind; one of the largest in the whole Middle East. The new state-of-art studio is equipped with broadcasting technology to be specialized for the news sector and political programs.
During the opening ceremony yesterday, Al-Jabri said the 750 square meter studio is considered one of the largest and most modern in the Middle East and its establishment is a successful step aligned with the government's media development strategies. The studio, designed according to artistic and technical standards of modern media technologies, will serve the approach for quality profession.


In the first phase of the construction works, a network of modern gear and equipment was installed. In the second stage, modern screens were set up and decorations were conducted. Al-Jabri thanked Muneera Al-Huwaidi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Press and Publications, and the ministry's leadership along with the all who were involved in executing this project.




Information Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for news and political programs Adel Al-Azmi assured the new modern studio would serve the news and political programs well starting today. The studio was carefully designed in a way that would allow employees to move around from one section to the other efficiently, added Al-Azmi. He also hoped the opening of the news studio will be a good addition to the sector of Kuwait's news broadcasting and political programs, while also strengthening KTV's status among other Arab channels. -- KUNA
