KUWAIT: A four-day industries and construction exhibition opened yesterday at Jumeirah Messilah Hotel. The inauguration was attended by Fahd Al-Oun, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Dr Salem Al-Abalani, Head of the Cultural Department at the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. The 9th Industries and Construction Expo kicked off with the participation of about 70 construction and furniture companies, as well as many governmental entities including the Public Authority for Housing Affairs, Ministry of Electricity and Water, Ministry of Public Works and Kuwait Credit Bank.
The exhibition is open from 10 am to 1:30 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm. Promotional discounts are available on construction material, decor and fitting units. Also available are building, finishing and smart technology material, furniture, garden design, air-conditioning, engineering and consulting offices.
Dalia Nabil Wafai, Managing Director of Expo Tag for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, said the expo aims to provide updates and investment opportunities for everyone in the construction business, adding an exhibition of this caliber is a perfect place for direct communications between participants, experts and stakeholders in the industry and consumers from Kuwait and the region.
