KUWAIT: Embassy of India in Kuwait organized the celebration of Foundation Day of ICCR and launch of a Sanskrit Learning app 'Little Guru' in Kuwait on Sunday. Delivering the inaugural remarks, Ambassador of India to Kuwait Sibi George spoke about India's rich cultural heritage and its rich and splendid diversity and remembered Shri Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India's first Education Minister, and his invaluable contributions which included establishing Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
The ambassador also gave a brief and succinct account of Sanskrit language and recounted some of its essential elements including a brief synopsis of its literary journey, contributions from a number of colossal figures of Indian literature, the special place occupied by Sanskrit; and also expounded on its eternal and inclusive role as a common heritage of all Indians.
To promote the Sanskrit language among students, scholars, Indologists, historians across the world, a specialized app for learning Sanskrit in a simple and efficient manner called 'Little Guru' has been designed by ICCR.
