KUWAIT: Commerce and Industry Ministry said Jabriya Evening Inspection System uncovered an unlicensed detergents factory. Hundreds of bottles were labeled fraudulently with names of international brands. The ministry is working on procedures against selling such material in order to take the necessary legal action against them.

The Interior Ministry will introduce new electronic services through which citizens can process their transactions through smart phone applications such as drivers license renewal, passports and domestic help residency renewals. The project is still under study at the Data System Center.

Camel slaughter circular

Acting Municipality Director Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi issued a circular for all officials to allow slaughter of camels in municipality slaughter houses, provided that all procedures are taken to guarantee correct procedures.
