KUWAIT: ICSK Junior is forever determined to give our students every opportunity to discover themselves. Though the pandemic has compelled us to maintain social distancing, 'Pearl Fest -2021' the virtual Art Fest that was conducted, brought our school's vision to life. The quest for brilliance, among our students.
Pearl Fest was organized on 7th, 8th and 9th of June 2021 for the students of the school. Art, in all its form and glory was then presented by the budding stars that left us amazed with their talents. It featured events covering different genres giving our students ample choices to suit their styles. Items like: Cookery show, Origami, Shadow art, Rangoli making, Instrumental music, Dance, Singing, Mobile photography, Digital art, Mad Ad Show, to name a few, kept everyone involved for three consecutive days.
Principal Sherly Dennis inaugurated the 3-day festival in the virtual inaugural ceremony. The ceremony started by invoking blessings of the Almighty followed by lighting the decorative lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. Sherly Dennis urged the students to strike a balance between art and life and enlightened our students with tips on improving their skills. C. Sheeja, Vice Principal in her address, advised the students about managing their time wisely during the vacation.
A foot tapping Bollywood fusion dance performance, an enlightening speech followed by the National Anthem on keyboard, were the highlights of the inaugural ceremony. The Pearl Fest was a grand success underlining the importance of co-curricular activities in school. The curtain fell, with a smile on each face after having enjoyed the class party, making the festival even more memorable.
