Guys I feel awful. I'm lost. I'm disorientated. I cannot think. I reached the newspaper to write an article but my head was clouded. Something is wrong. You know what?... you will laugh. I just realized I left my mobile phone at home. Fifteen years ago, no one cared much about mobiles. I had one which I barely bothered to carry because few people had mobiles that time - so what's the point. There was no Whatsapp, no Facebook, no Twitter, no Instagram, no Snapchat, no SMS, no Messenger. So in those days, I hardly even used it. I may be carrying for a few times just to boast that I have it. How silly.

But now, it's totally a different story. You cannot live without a phone. You contact your family with it. You follow up your work; you book your fights; you research your articles; you send photos and receive photos; you receive news on it and you stay up to date on it. You can do pretty much all your business on the phone - whether you're in Timbuktu or New York City.

How did it change so much in such a short time? - If you can call 15 years a short time - we have changed really. Not only me, but the whole world. I'm sure many of you would panic if you leave your phone or worse, lost it. So honestly speaking, I feel lost without my phone. Now I have to decide - should I go back home and get my phone or just settle for something like the old days for an hour or two and then write my article? Darn it, I got to go.
