Camping insurance
Head of the Jahra committee at the Municipal Council Ahmed Hadayyan demanded amending article 12 of the resolution made by the committee supervising camping procedures and reduce the insurance deposit from KD 300 to only KD 100 per 1,000 meters or less, to be refunded after removing the camp and cleaning the site. Speaking at a workshop held to discuss camping locations in Jahra, Hadayyan said EPA did not attend the workshop despite its vital role in protecting the environment at campsites. He added the workshop also discussed allocating locations for entrepreneurs at these sites.
