KUWAIT: Kuwait shooting sport local season will start on Thursday with the annual tournament of HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with the participation of shooting club shooters as well as shooters from the National Guard, army and police sports associations in the Olympic skeet, trap, 10m pistol and rifle, 50m pistol and rifle and Olympic archery.

President of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi expressed appreciation to HH the Crown Prince, on behalf of the shooting sport community for his continued support and encouragement for athletes of Kuwait including shooting.

He said HH the Crown Prince care of the shooting sport is a strong motivation for the development of the sport at all levels local and abroad.
Al-Otaibi said this tournament has a special status for the shooting community and all shooters with love to participate in it, adding that the board of directors welcomes shooters from GCC countries to participate in it.

He said that the organizing committee is carrying out preparations to hold the tournament and bring it out the best way possible, through readying ranges of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex and all other facilities.

Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi said the board of directors already approved local tournaments scheduled (2019-2020), as the tournaments carry the names of personalities who served Kuwait and support shooting.
Eng Al-Otaibi thanked HH the Crown Prince and wished all participating shooters success.
