KUWAIT: Health Minister Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Sabah received members of a medical team who carried out the first liver transplant operation in Kuwait, which was performed on a Kuwaiti citizen in her sixties. The minister congratulated the team on this 'historic achievement,' which he said "proves the competence of Kuwaiti doctors and the strength of the health system." Ministry Undersecretary Dr Mustafa Redha attended the reception.
