Guns fall silent, but tensions high between India, Pakistan

KUWAIT: The Ministry of Higher Education announced the opening of registration for the year 2024/2025 for graduates of secondary school (unified system) or its equivalent in high school. The students can apply through the ministry’s website from Saturday evening until the 22nd of this month. Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Lamia Al-Melhem said in a statement that based on the directives of the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Adel Al-Adwani, the program was approved.

Registrations opened for Kuwaiti students on Saturday from 6 pm until the same time on Monday in order to give the greatest possible opportunity to all students. To register for medical courses, students are required to submit an IELTS test certificate with a minimum score of 5.6 or its equivalent total score in the TOEFL test. The screening criteria for admission are carried out according to the equivalent rate for medical and engineering specialties. — KUNA
