KUWAIT: Chairman of Kuwait Humanitarian Friendship Society Ahmad Al-Sarraf honors Yahya Al-Bassam.

KUWAIT: Chairman of Kuwait Humanitarian Friendship Society Ahmad Al-Sarraf said this society is the first to operate in the charity and humanitarian field without deducting anything from donations, as all donations go towards the goals the society was established to achieve. Sarraf said members of the board of directors were pleased when another society followed suit by not deducting anything from donations, adding this move will encourage many societies to do the same. He said this is good for humanitarian projects that seek to help needy and disaster-afflicted people everywhere.

Meanwhile, Sarraf and Director General Khalid bin Sabt visited Yahya Al-Bassam, who is one of the main supporters of the society's mission, and gave him a memento in recognition of his continued donations to the society, as he believes in the humanitarian role of the society. Bin Sabt thanked Bassam in the presence of Suleiman Yahya Al-Bassam, calling on able citizens and expats to contact the society and support it so that it continues its noble march with the help of the largest number of donors.
