French fashion giants ban ultra-thin models

KUWAIT: The Ordinary General Assembly of the Kuwait Journalists Association unanimously approved the administrative and financial reports for the years 2023 and 2024, the estimated budget for the year 2025, and the Al-Buzaie and Partners Office for Auditing for the year 2025 in the meeting held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Association’s temporary headquarters in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

The association was represented by Adnan Khalifa Al Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jassim Mohammed Kamal, Secretary Dahran Aba Al Khail Al Mutairi, Treasurer, and all members of the Board of Directors: Rabia Hussein Makki Al-Juma, Yousef Ahmed Al-Shehab and Awaid Abed Al-Anzi.

The Ministry of Social Affairs was represented by the Director of the Civil Society Department, Iman Saleh Al-Anzi; Head of the Cultural Societies Department and Senior Legal Researcher, Badour Bu-Nashi; Administrative Executive of the Cultural Societies Department, Hadi Al-Ajmi; Head of the Accounts Department, Mohammed Al-Shatti; Abrar Abdeen from the Accounting Department; Wafa Abdulaziz Malik, Director’s Secretary; Asmaa Hazaa Al-Hazaa, Social Service Researcher; Fatima Al-Daoud, Accounts Department; Saad Al-Sahoud, Legal Researcher; and Mahdi Bushehri, Administrative Coordinator of the Cultural Societies Department.

Senior Auditor Ahmed Abu Huwaili from Al Bazie Auditing Office also attended. The Chairman of the Kuwait Journalists Association and the members of the Association’s Board of Directors thanked the members of the General Assembly for their confidence in the Board of Directors and their approval of the administrative and financial report; the Department of Civil Society Associations in the Ministry of Social Affairs for their good cooperation; and the members of the Association’s Board of Directors and the administrative staff for their efforts.
