KUWAIT: The local council of Special Olympics has concluded the first round of election of the council leaders for the next four years. Yousuf Khalil was appointed chairman (unopposed), while Sheikha Al-Hindi was elected First Deputy and Ali Al-Shaye (Second Deputy). The final session of the Council was attended by the national director of Kuwait Special Olympics, Rihab Bouresli; the deputy chairman of the board of Tomooh Club, Cherar Al-Rabah; club secretary Sadeega Al-Ansari; the deputy chairman of the family council, Dr Ali Dashti; and Tomooh Club executive director, Huda Al-Khaldi.

Rihab Bouresli was satisfied with the positive results of the council’s sessions and the workshops that were held for more than a month. Bouresli lauded the awareness level and interaction of players. She also appreciated the creative efforts that contributed to the success of the Council’s activities and thanked the officials for their good initiatives. Linda Jaber thanked the Kuwait Special Olympics and Tomooh Sport Club for providing all facilities to ensure the success of the Council’s activities. She lauded the players’ families and specialists for their outstanding interaction.
