KUWAIT: EducationMinistry Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs Fahd Al-Ghaisrevealed a time schedule for the arrival of new teachers who were contractedabroad, and that in preparation for the start of the school year in two weeks.The first batch will arrive on September 4 with 86 teachers of both gendersfrom Tunisia and Jordan out of 192. He added the number of teachers from Jordanis 91, while those from Tunisia are 101. As for Palestinian teachers, theirnumber is 321, making the total 513.

Ghais said a planwas made to receive the teachers in batches, who will be taken to thehospitality center in Dasma and transport, residence and food will be preparedfor them. He said the ministry has facilitated for them a KD 200 loan, with amaximum of three loans until they are settled.

Meanwhile,Director of Education Affairs at Ahmadi Education Zone Hamad Al-Saeed said thezone worked on providing all members of the administration and teachingfaculties in various specialties, in addition to covering all vacancies. Hesaid that 300 teachers of both genders joined Ahmadi education zone throughdirect contracting, adding that this number covers all schools' needs, in additionto local and foreign contracting.
