KUWAIT:Firefighters put out a fire at an apartment block, which includes severalgarages, a gas cylinder store room and residential units, in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukhwith no injuries reported. In spite of arriving at the scene within fiveminutes, firefighters faced the danger of further explosions due to thepresence of car oils, tires and gas cylinders in a residential area, KuwaitFire Service Directorate said.
It noted that thebuilding's owners would be held liable and would face severe measures for usingresidential units in contrary to their intended purpose presenting a high riskto occupants and firefighters.
