KUWAIT: Health sources said analysis of samples taken from the weight-loss pills which allegedly caused a young woman’s death recently in Kuwait meet safety standards and do not contain any harmful chemicals. The 21-year-old woman, who was preparing for her wedding, took the pills promoted by a fashionista on social media, and later died after being rushed to hospital in critical condition. The fashionista, who has a degree in medicine, said the pills are clinically licensed contrary to what is being said on social media. - A Saleh
