KUWAIT: The cruise ship MS Artania, carrying around a thousand tourists from across Europe, docked in Kuwait on Monday as part of a tour of the wider Arab region, the country's ports authority said.
MS Artania’s pit stop in Kuwait is part of efforts to boost local 'maritime tourism,' said a Kuwait Ports Authority in a statement. It is in line with the national 'Development Vision 2035.' The German-owned MS Artania, en route to a number of Gulf Arab countries, is the first tourist ship to dock in Kuwait since 2012. - KUNA
