KUWAIT: Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs Dr Amthal Al-Huwailah has stressed the importance of supporting local products to achieve food security and raise the level of local production.

This came in a press statement by Minister Al-Huwailah on the occasion of the opening of a new market outlet for the Farmers Union in the Fahad Al-Ahmad area in Ahmadi Governorate. This comes within the efforts to expand the markets for local agricultural products.

Al-Huwailah praised the role of farmers in supporting food security through the quality of local products, expressing her appreciation for the efforts made to enhance the Kuwaiti agricultural products. She affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting everything that benefits citizens. — KUNA
