KUWAIT: A Kuwaiti youth filed a complaint against employees at the Egyptian consulate for insulting and beating him. The citizen went to Siddiq police station and told them that while at the consulate, he was surprised by some people he does not know who pulled him inside, tied him up and beat him, adding that he will be able to identify them. The prosecutor considered the incident a felony. The citizen will be questioned while detectives investigate.

Bus fire
Firemen battled two blazes, one in a Rai carpentry shop and another in a bus on Airport Road. The first call was about a fire in a shop containing lumber and flammable material. Ardhiya, Industrial Shuwaikh, Capital, Sulaibikhat and backup centers responded and put out the fire. The second fire was in a minibus on Airport Road. The fire was put out as smoke filled the area.

Dental safe stolen

A safe was stolen from a dental clinic in Hawally, according to the legal representative of the clinic. Security cameras showed a person entering the place, who took the safe which contained important documents, besides KD 3,000. Investigations are underway. - Al-Rai
