KUWAIT: The Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Mana, called on educational leaders to exert efforts to equip the school facilities, especially those related to maintenance, air conditioning, furniture, books, and hygiene. This came in a press statement by the minister following an inspection tour on Tuesday.
The minister visited a number of schools to determine the readiness of facilities before the start of the new academic year. He stressed that he will not tolerate any negligence in the new academic year, as the performance of each department will be assessed and evaluated, adding that he will not hesitate to take the necessary legal measures to hold the defaulters accountable in order to correct situations and improve performance.
"All of us at the Ministry of Education bear a great responsibility towards the education of students and consider it an uncompromising duty. Therefore, we must work with transparency and dedication in order to achieve our desired goals with team spirit and cooperation to ensure a safe and high-quality educational environment for all,” he said.
The minister called on the concerned departments to provide him with urgent reports on the preparations of schools, including the maintenance of facilities, the provision of furniture, and other necessary things, to be delivered on Wednesday. - KUNA
