Islamabad: An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 jolted parts of Pakistan including federal capital Islamabad on Sunday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, an earthquake of 6.3 magnitudes was measured at a depth of 150 kilometers with its epicenter in Tajikistan. It had a longitude of 69.65 East and latitude of 38.65 north.
There were no immediate reports of casualties. The tremors were felt here in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and several other cities. The strong tremors forced people in the capital to get out of their homes in fear till the earthquake was over.
