KUWAIT: Celebrating the National holidays of the State of Kuwait, The Diplomatic Women's Committee (DWC) participated in honoring Sheikha Halah Badr Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for her sincere efforts and outstanding support for the activities and programs of the committee. The honoring took place during a ceremony entitled 'Kuwait of Humanity and Peace.'
Among the attendees were the chairperson of the DWC, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone Ishata Thomas, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Tanzania Aisha Amour, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya Halima Mohamad, in addition to the advisor of the committee Nargis Al-Shatti, and Media and Public Relations Officer Fauzia Abdul Basit.
The Chairperson of the Committee highlighted the role DWC played during the previous years, introducing cultures, history, heritage and tourism of the various participating countries, and bringing social and diplomatic cohesion between these countries.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tanzania also expressed her gratitude for the role in which DWC carried out its online activities under the theme of 'Cultural Exchange' for the month of January by presenting a documentary on Tanzania's culture, heritage and tourism. The program has achieved a great success among the diplomatic circle accredited to the State of Kuwait.
The participants wished DWC a successful and prosperous future and best wishes for the State of Kuwait under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
