The hospital said the surgery involves fixing a stint to fit the size of the arteries of the patient and later implanting it through catheterization, adding that the surgery was led by Dr Abdullah Al-Fawwaz. The team carried out the procedure by adjusting a stint surgically to fit the sizes and branches of the patient’s arteries and placing them through catheterization.

This type of procedure requires high technical skills and accurate planning. — KUNA
