KUWAIT: The World Bowling Championship for men and women continues with the start of the doubles competition at 9:00 am, during which several team will attempt to make up for their failure in the singles, during the tournament which saw very strong competition in the presence of the best of World Champions.

Meanwhile IBF first Vice President Martin Faba lauded the major role of Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, President of IBF and Asian Bowling Federation, in developing and promoting the game around the world.

He said “Bowling sport had a notable development in the past few years, and this is due to the hard work of the Board of Directors under the leadership of the president, as many counties organized regional, continental and international bowling tournament, with the participation of a large number of players of both genders that in addition to having more than 10 countries join IBF”.

Faba lauded the opening ceremony, describing it as fabulous with its artistic shows, in addition to having started successfully, and the technical level is on the rise, and it is very difficult to predict or estimate the winner.

He said the sport of bowling will have fantastic future, adding that we are seeking new sponsorship agreements for the upcoming world championships that are under the sanction of IBF, and this will contribute to the further development of the game at both the technical and administrative levels.
