KUWAIT: A dentist and a clerk - both Kuwaitis - working in a polyclinic in Ahmadi were arrested for fighting in the clinic's parking lot, said security sources, noting that patients coming out of the clinic saw the fight and called the police. A case was filed pending further legal action after both parties brought medical reports of their injuries.
Sheep stolen
A Kuwaiti man reported that two unidentified robbers attacked the guard of his ranch, threatened him with a cleaver and stole eight sheep and the guard's mobile phone to prevent him from calling the police. A case was filed and further investigations are in progress to identify and arrest the robbers.
Fugitive arrested
A bedoon man wanted for an unpaid debt was arrested in Jahra with the 'chemical' drug, said security sources. Case papers indicate that on a routine patrol, Jahra detectives suspected someone they had stopped was under the influence. However, on checking on him, detectives found he is a bedoon wanted for unpaid debts. On searching him, detectives found the drugs. The drugs were confiscated and the suspect was referred to relevant authorities.
Drug possession
Ahmadi detectives arrested a Kuwaiti who looked nervous and tried to escape from a checkpoint when they asked for his ID, said security sources, noting that policemen chased the suspect and managed to control him.
