Defendant acquitted in drug case

KUWAIT: Lawyers Khalil Al-Qattan and Mohammad Al-Qattan recently won acase before the court of appeal which acquitted their client Ali Sadeq, who hadbeen sentenced by the court of first instance to ten years in prison in a drugtrafficking case in which defendant Adel Al-Musallam is the prime suspect. Thelawyer argued that the search warrant did not include their client's name, thathe had not been arrested red-handed and that his arrest procedures were void.
