ZAGREB: Kuwait national rhythmic gymnasium team made a good start at the Croatia International Championship that was held from Oct 12-15 with the participation of 15 countries.

Sarah Al-Bannai won two silver medals for the hoop and mace events and placed fourth in the general individual routine of the pro-junior as she competed with 24 players while Nour Al-Ruzaihan had outstanding performance in the juniors category competing with 31 other players.

Raya Al-Qassar who competed with 14 players ended in 7th place with the free style event of the level A, while Nabeela Al-Kharafi was placed fourth in the ball event of the level A.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Gymnastics Federation lauded the performance of the gymnasts in this international strong championship adding that the goal behind the participation is to enhance the level of the players and provide contact with various schools in the field of rhythmic gymnastics.
