KUWAIT: Fake goods found in a shipment that arrived to Kuwait yesterday

KUWAIT: Airport customs foiled an attempt to smuggle into Kuwait counterfeit products that arrived in a shipment weighing 6,500 kilograms from an Asian country yesterday. The goods, which contained watches, bags and other products carrying logos of famous trademarks, will be destroyed according to customs rules. Meanwhile, customs officers arrested a number of passengers yesterday who were found in possession of marijuana, psychoactive drugs and narcotic drops at Kuwait International Airport. In other news, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that a company was refereed to commercial prosecution for selling shoes with pictures of mosques and Islamic decorations on them. Hawally commercial supervision department confiscated the goods that were on display at a garments and shoes store.
