Curfew to be lifted, gatherings ban remains

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Cabinet announced yesterday evening the lifting of the partial curfew as of 3am on Sunday, August 30, 2020.

But several prohibitions remain in effect including:

No wedding ceremonies.
No gatherings in diwaniyas.
Banquets are for family members only.
No condolence gatherings in muitipurposes halls.
No receptions at private or public diwans.
