KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, accompanied by Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited the Kuwait Disabled Sport Club on Wednesday evening. He was welcomed by Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Nasser Al-Jabri, and the honorary chairperson of the club Sheikha Sheikha Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and leaders of the club.

His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to the board members and all staffers of the club the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He appreciated their efforts which led to remarkable achievements in the regional and international sports events. His Highness the Crown Prince reaffirmed the commitment of the state to backing all efforts aiming to ensure the welfare of the people with special needs and integrate them into the society. He expressed the best wishes for the country under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir - the Humanitarian Leader. At the end of the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince received a gift token from leaders of the club.

Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf visited the Kuwait Sports Club for the Deaf, as he was welcomed by Jabri and leaders of the Public Authority for Sports and the club. His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to the board members and all staffers of the club the greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He appreciated their efforts to ensure the welfare of the people with special needs and integrate them into the society, renewing the commitment of the state to supporting them. At the end of the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince received a gift token from the club.

Also, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf visited the Kuwait Blind Association, and was welcomed by Minister of Social Affairs Saad Ibrahim Al-Kharraz, and the honorary president of the association Fahad Sayyah Bu-Shaiba, as well as the board chairman and members of the association. His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to the leaders and staffers of the association the greetings of His Highness the Amir on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He appreciated their services for the members of the association, reaffirming the commitment of the state to backing all efforts aiming to ensure the welfare of the people with special needs and integrate them into the society. At the end of the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince received a gift token from leaders of the association.

Later on Wednesday, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf visited the diwaniya of 'Nabati' (vernacular Bedouin) poets, as he was welcomed to the new building of the diwaniya (traditional lounge) by Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Advisor to the Amiri Diwan Mohammad Dhaifullah Sharar, as well as board chairman and members of the Nabati Poets' Diwaniya. His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to the audience the greetings of His Highness the Amir on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He extolled the role of Nabati poets in conserving the heritage of the country and the cultural identity of the nation. His Highness the Crown Prince received a gift token at the end of the visit. - KUNA
