KUWAIT: MunicipalCouncil member Hassan Kamal submitted several questions about Kuwait City'sstructural plan, adding that its importance is in its direct link to people'slives, because it decides construction policies and goals which reflect thestate's future vision and plans for the next 25 years.

Kamal said thestate's third structural plan was issued by a decree in 2008, and it wasexpected to be completed in 2019, but was delayed for certain reasons. He saidthe Capital's fourth structural plan is ready, but before submitting it to theMunicipal Council, answers are needed for the following questions:

1. With regardsto the detailed plan of the Capital, what is the percentage of compliance withthe third structural plan of the state from 2008 to 2019?

2. Is there anydifference in the fourth structural plan of the Capital compared with thethird? Mention the projects and new uses and changes from the third plan.

3. What is the estimateddate for the approval of the fourth structural plan?

4. Are theprojects approved in the fourth structural plan agreeable with the state'sdevelopment projects and Kuwait 2035 vision?
