Civil Aviation denies ‘fire on plane’ claims

KUWAIT: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation commented on rumors claiming a fire had started on board of a Gulf Air plane that made an emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport recently. It said the rumors were inaccurate as no fire had taken place, noting that the incident was dealt with accordingly and is currently being investigated.

Amiri Diwan mourns Sheikha

Kuwait condemns assassination
KUWAIT: The State of Kuwait on Thursday strongly condemned the assassination of Haiti’s President Jovenel Moise. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs underlined the State of Kuwait’s solidarity with the Republic of Haiti, as well as condolences to the President’s family and the friendly Haitian people.
