KUWAIT: A number of senior judges took the oath as heads of courts before His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Sunday.
The swearing-in ceremony involved judge Mohammad bin Naji as President of Supreme Judicial Council, President of Court of Cassation and President of the Constitutional Court, justice Mohammad Abu Sulaib as Court of Appeals President, while their peer Younis Al-Yaseen swore in as the Vice President of Appeals Court.
His Highness the Crown Prince received at Bayan Palace the newly sworn-in court chiefs, bin Naji, Abu Sulaib and Al-Yaseen.
Also hosted by His Highness the Crown Prince was Cassation Court Vice President judge Dr Adel Boresly, Public Prosecutor Saad Al-Safran, Cassation Court Undersecretary Ishaq Al-Kandari, and Ministry of Justice Undersecretary Omar Al-Sharqawi.
Attending was Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Minister of Justice Abdulaziz al-Majid, Amiri Diwan undersecretary and Director of His Highness the Amir's office Ahmad Al-Fahad, as well as Crown Prince office Director Jamal Al-Theyab.
