Challenges against election results increase

KUWAIT: The total number of contests against the election results rose to 30 yesterday, the last day of the window granted to candidates to file complaints at the constitutional court. Former MPs Bader Al-Dahoum and Fares Al-Otaibi were among those who filed the contests. On his Twitter account, Otaibi stressed that he filed a plea motivated by the persistence of his constituents and campaign staff members, and claimed that the results were miscounted.
