KUWAIT: Farwaniya detectives have arrested a citizen for destroying an ATM machine in Ardhiya. A call about a damaged ATM machine in an Ardhiya bank prompted detectives to launch an investigation. They later identified the suspect as a young Kuwaiti man in his 20s (Saud Mohammad). He was later arrested. The suspect confessed to damaging the ATM with an axe. He said he needed money that was why he destroyed the ATM machine. Security officials said he is also an ex-convict in drugs related cases.
Liquor factory busted
Relations and Security Information Department said Hawally security operatives discovered a liquor factory in Salwa. Police received tips about the factory housed in a flat. Detective raided the building and found 685 liquor bottles and 53 drums. Investigations are underway.
