KUWAIT: Farwaniya firemen put out a blaze that burned a vehicle on the Fourth Ring Road near Yarmouk. No injuries were reported. Meanwhile, a fire broke out in a Qadisiya house, prompting response from the Shuhada and Hawally fire stations. The fire was put out and no injuries were reported. The teams were led by Majors Suleiman Al-Matar and Ali Sadiq. Investigations went underway to determine the causes of the fire in both cases.
Suspects caught
The Interior Ministry’s Relations and Security Information Department issued a follow up statement regarding the arrest of a number of persons among a group of citizens who recently prevented policemen from carrying out their duties. The statement released yesterday indicates that criminal detectives arrested all reckless individuals who appeared in video footage that circulated on social media. The suspects were identified in the statement as Mubarak Ojairem, Mohammad Falah, Abdallah Saud, Barrak Nasser, Jamaan Irshaid and Khalid Jamaan, all Kuwaitis in their twenties.
