KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality's public relations department stressed on the continuation of inspection tours against 'bachelors' residing in private residential areas. The campaign has so far resulted in tracking 22 violating houses, filing nine citations, evicting bachelors from six houses and disconnecting power from 16 others, Deputy director for Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer affairs Ammar Al-Ammar said. The tours made in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior and Public Authority for Civil Information were going according to schedule, Ammar added.
'Exit' approved
The Farwaniya committee at the Municipal Council yesterday approved a request by the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation to build a new exit for Kuwait Airways in Dajeej, said the committee rapporteur Fahd Al-Muwaizri, adding that a request to build a cultural center for the Bohra community was referred to the Municipality's executive body.
