KUWAIT: As part of Burgan Bank's long-standing partnership with Al-Ahmadi Governorate, Burgan Bank sponsors 'Nabeek Salem,' the governorate's school art competition. The competition has launched in cooperation with Al-Ahmadi Supervision of Art Education. Burgan Bank's support comes as part of its long-term commitment to supporting different communities and educational causes.
The competition targets a wide range of students of Ahmadi Governorate schools in all its three stages, from first grade to high school, to educate the community through artistic works that highlight the importance of adhering to the methods of prevention and physical distancing to protect from COVID-19, in addition, to highlighting the importance of getting vaccinated.
Hessa Hussain Al-Najadah, Manager - Public Relations at Burgan Bank, said: "We are delighted to announce our partnership with Al-Ahmadi Governorate for the second year in a row. Sponsoring 'Nabeek Salem' art competition is a core part of our social responsibility and within Burgan Bank's keenness to spread awareness on protection against the coronavirus.
It is important to inspire the youth through initiatives such as this competition to advocate the importance of prevention through their talented works and promote a shared responsibility on following strict safety guidelines and taking the vaccination. Participating students can submit their artworks starting from first of March till Thursday March 25th, through the 'Teams' educational platform, wherein the organizing committee has also provided various steps for participation on the platform. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded early next April.
