AMMAN: Kuwait’s team defeated on Thursday Jordan 29-26 at the 18th Asian Men’s Junior Handball Championship currently held in Jordan.

The first half ended 15-11 in favor of Kuwait which could add 14 more to win the game. Speaking to KUNA, head of Kuwait’s delegation Qaid al-Adwani said Kuwaiti players made a big technical performance.

He hoped that Kuwait could win the coming match against Bahrain to ensure qualification for the 25th IHF Men’s Junior (U21) Handball World Championship in Poland 2025. Kuwaitis came second in the group, which includes Iran, China and Bahrain. — KUNA
