KUWAIT: Four matches will be held today in the Blessen George Volleyball Tournament being held at Al-Shabab Sports Club hall instead of Fahaheel club. Six teams expressed their wish to participate in the annual event that commemorates India’s national team volleyball player Blessen George.
The teams were divided into two groups - the first includes ACMA, APR and the Stars, while the second includes King of Volleyball, Boubyan and Boudham fighters. A draw took place in the presence of three organizers as well as Kuwait Volleyball Federation President Waleed Aman, Secretary General Abdullah Kayed and Referees’ Committee Rapporteur Nayef Al-Humaidan. The organizers decided to hold the matches on two courts so matches can end at the scheduled time. Matches begin at 6 pm with tomorrow being the closing day.
