ShareSTUTTGART: Representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Germany on Monday to participate in celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the Kuwait and Mercedes-Benz AG. The celebratory event is set to take place in Stuttgart, the heartland of Germany’s automotive industry and home to Mercedes-Benz.
Upon arrival, His Highness the Prime Minister was received by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Germany Reem Mohammad Al-Khaled, Consul General in Frankfurt Adel Ahmad Al-Ghunaiman, as well as senior members of the Kuwaiti Embassy and Consulate. In statements delivered during the visit, His Highness the Prime Minister praised the enduring and historic relationship between Kuwait and Germany, underlining decades of fruitful cooperation and mutual respect. He expressed his hope for continued dialogue and collaboration across a range of fields to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The event commemorates 50 years of investment by the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) in Mercedes-Benz—a partnership characterized by trust, reliability, and shared success. “Germany and Kuwait enjoy a strong foundation of economic cooperation. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to facing global challenges together,” said German Ambassador to Kuwait Von Reibnitz, adding with a smile: “And of course, I will continue to drive a Kuwaiti-German car!”
