KUWAIT: Kuwait customs foiled an attempt to smuggle hundreds of liquor bottles into the country. Customs officers searched a yacht that arrived in Kuwait from a Gulf state based on a tip in that it was carrying contrabands. Officers found nearly 700 bottles of liquor after searching the yacht at Um Al-Maradem Customs Center, the General Administration of Customs said in a statement.
