KUWAIT: Airport customs officers foiled an attempt to smuggle 140 kg of mitragynine (kratom) into the country. The banned substance arrived from an Asian country. KUWAIT: Commerce and Industry Ministry inspectors closed a store in Hawally for printing stickers and placing them on products to alter the country of origin, as well as stickers of counterfeit goods carrying famous trademarks.
