At least 18 killed in Afghan mosque blast
Kabul: A bomb blast Friday at one of the biggest mosques in western Afghanistan killed 18 people including its influential imam, an official said."Eighteen people were martyred in the incident and 23 others were wounded," Hameedullah Motawakel, spokesman for the governor of Herat province, told reporters in a text message.
