KUWAIT: The charity 'Fun Run' initiative, organized by Ahli United Bank (AUB) under the theme 'Plant Palm Trees with Your Steps' keeps on achieving success and making positive results. All proceeds from this activity were allocated for planting palm trees, and giving the produced dates to support needy families on permanent basis. AUB celebrated the delivery of the palm trees planted for this purpose to the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) that will handle the maintenance of these trees.

On this occasion, Sahar Dashti, General Manager of Customer Protection and the Head of AUB CSR Team said: "Achieving long-term positive results and Sustainability are our most important community goals. Accordingly, we have ensured making the AUB 'Fun Run' under the slogan 'Plant Palm Trees with Your Steps' to have a deeper positive impact.

The 'Fun Run' is not only a message of awareness about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle and preserving the environment, as we also dedicated its proceeds to plant palm trees and provide the produced dates to support families in need. Today, we reaffirm our success through delivering these palm trees to PAAAFR to take care of their maintenance and then distribute the dates."

Dashti added: "Our CSR program is based on a number of pillars, with the environment being one of the most significant, which is in line with the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jabre Al-Sabah for 'New Kuwait 2035.'"

Dashti expressed congratulations to all participants and organizers on the success of this endeavor, affirming that this participation is a contribution to promoting health and environmental awareness, as well as charity activities, which made the 'Fun Run' an exceptional event, and became an example for distinctive community programs, especially after the growing success achieved year after year.
