KUWAIT: The Alumni and Career Placement Center at the Australian University (AU) is organizing its 2022 Career Fair, scheduled to be held over the course of two days (16-17, October). The annual career fair aims to provide AU students and graduates with a valuable opportunity to network and meet industry leaders and recruiters from different industries such as Banking, Oil and Gas, Telecom, Automotive and much more.
The career fair will serve as a linking platform between recruiters representing 60 companies with fresh graduates and job seekers. In addition, prior to an event, a workshop is organized to familiarize attendees with the skills necessary to succeed in their job search such as interview skills and CV writing tips.
The main event is set to begin following an opening ceremony conducted by Dr Mishal Al Rubaie, Director General of the Public Authority of Youth, with guests of honor attending including Engr. Faisal Al Atel, Chairman of the Kuwait Society for Engineers, Her Excellency Melissa Kelly, Australian Ambassador-designate to Kuwait, and Natassia Kaufman, Deputy Head of Mission, and Consul at the Australian Embassy of Kuwait.
