Kuwait: Kuwait Ports Authority has been given more than KD 22 million in compensation by a number of firms found to have committed legal infractions, it said on Monday, citing a court decision on the matter.

The measure aims to clamp down on any practice that is deemed detrimental to the management of public funds, besides putting in place a business environment that is conducive for foreign investment, it said in a statement, commending a court decision to resolve the matter.
