43,000 students start midterm exams

KUWAIT: The final midterm exams for the 2023–24 semester started on Sunday for some 43,000 high school students in the 12th grade for both sciences and arts disciplines. Some 27,540 sciences, 15,005 arts, and 824 religious studies students were eager to start and perform their best to succeed in their studies and cultivate a bright future for Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Education Minister and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Adel Al-Mane has stressed his keenness to make the academic year easy and convenient for students. Al-Mane visited Grade 12 students and the examination committee to check and monitor the academic activities of the students. The minister vowed to continue to improve the quality of education and fight any negative phenomena.

He appreciated the leading and significant role of school administrations, members of the scientific and literary control, participants and all employees during the examination period. Al-Mane called on the students to exert effort and work hard so as to achieve their goals and ambitions. The minister was accompanied during the tour by the undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, the head of exams, Anwar Al-Hamdan and other high-ranking officials. —KUNA
