ICSK students visit Kuwait Times and Kuwait News

KUWAIT: Humanities students from Indian Community School, Kuwait embarked on a journey into the realm of journalism, where they were provided with an authentic taste of it and met Kuwait Times staff. The experience served as a powerful testament to the potential and diversity that journalism holds. Under the guidance of Jana Alnaqeeb, Public Relations and CSR manager at Kuwait Times and Kuwait News, the students were taken on an enthralling tour of the newspaper’s various departments.

Each department’s role in delivering content to Kuwait and the world was explained, accompanied by giving each student their copy of Kuwait Times’ 63-year-old inaugural newspaper edition. The archive room, where Kuwait Times preserves its invaluable historical documents spanning six decades, was one of the remarkable experiences for the students, as they flipped through the pages of history.

They were led to the warehouse, where they witnessed the vibrant artistic coworking space, making it another astonishing area for the students. They enjoyed discovering every small and big detail that leaves a memorable impression on Kuwait Times’ visitors. Their journey of exploration finally culminated in the studio, where Dhoha Al-Issa, video reporter and content creator, filmed a fun game with students who volunteered to be on camera for sharing on Kuwait Times’ social media platforms.
