KUWAIT: The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) confirmed on Thursday that it will continue to receive donations to support Palestinians in Gaza through the society’s website and at its headquarters in the Shuwaikh area. The president of the association, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Kuwait Red Crescent campaign continues to support the brothers in Gaza and alleviate the crisis there, especially during the winter, difficult climatic conditions, and the increase in the number of displaced and injured in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Sayer added that the association seeks to provide medical supplies for the treatment of the wounded, especially children, pointing out that the association has taken the initiative since the beginning of the Zionist aggression. KRCS is distributing food, daily meals, medical supplies, and ambulances in cooperation with local and international partners.
Kuwait will continue to support humanitarian work and will spare no effort in providing assistance to Palestinians, which reflects the image of the honorable country under the leadership of Amir His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Kuwait is one of the countries that has introduced relief aid to provide medical supplies and foodstuffs to the people in Gaza since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on October 7. — KUNA
